A business and corporate attorney with 16 years of experience, Iván began his career in commercial litigation in private practice before moving into government leadership as COO of a $20M-budget research trust and co-creator of a 400+ company startup accelerator. He then returned to private practice, including a stint as general counsel and chief of staff at a health-tech company. He brings depth in several areas: contract negotiation and commercial agreements, entity formation and compliance, and fractional general counsel work. He also practices immigration law—family, humanitarian, and business immigration.

His background isn't a footnote. He's been on the founder side, the operator side, and the policy side. That's why he gets what you're actually building—and why the advice cuts through without the usual overhead of outside counsel.

Iván works bilingual in English and Spanish, is licensed in Washington, D.C. and Puerto Rico, and runs an AI-native practice model designed to deliver large-firm quality at boutique speed and cost.
